Ready to Dance!

I am ready to dance!
I know that on short trips like this you often don't get to see the fulfillment of the spirits work, but I trust that either on this side of heaven or the next, we will.
Have you seen the blog Kisses from Katie? I love reading how God is using her to in very real ways to show Gods amazing love and salvation.
She had a post last month that that she entitled "Healer God" that told this beautiful story of how God used a tough situation to bring healing to both her and the man she cared for. After the better part of a year had past from the time she started caring for him, this man was physically healed and spiritually alive. She was so overjoyed that, as she says, "I didn't try to contain my excitement as I danced around the kitchen that day..."
I am looking forward to dancing and praising God over new brothers and sisters in Christ.
If you have the time I would encourage you to read the story for yourself.

127 days till lift off

127 DAYS!
It seems so far and yet so close!
The plans tickets are being purchased and the immunizations have begun (not my favorite part, but worth it).
We are very excited to meet with our team this week and have the opportunity to encourage one another as we continue to prepare for this trip.

To all the prayer warriors:
Please be in prayer for our team to be protected against the attacks of the enemy, who plants thoughts of doubt and insecurities. We rest in the comfort that we are incapable of doing any good on our own strength and that any good that might be accomplished is only because of Christ. Pray for us as we attempt to learn some of the Swahili language, continue to reach out and make connections with people at the orphanage and surrounding areas, and for the continued preparation as we share this road with our children, that they also may know and love our Lord in a greater way.
Thank you for sharing in this journey with us.

Blessings,

Christina Nicole
